'''James Chong''' is a Singaporean KyokushinRyu karate practitioner and instructor, and the son of [[Peter Chong]], the pioneer of Kyokushin karate in Singapore. He is an active member of the [[IKAK|International Karate Alliance KyokushinRyu]] and contributes to the development and promotion of KyokushinRyu alongside his brother [[Jackie Chong]].

== Martial arts training ==
James Chong trained in Kyokushin karate under the direct guidance of his father [[Peter Chong]] from an early age, grounding his practice in the full-contact tradition established through the lineage of [[Masutatsu Oyama]]. He attained the rank of 3rd dan under the SOKK and IKAK systems.

== Role in IKAK ==
James Chong supports IKAK activities in Singapore and internationally, participating in seminars, training camps, and organizational events. Together with his brother [[Jackie Chong]], he helps carry forward the KyokushinRyu tradition established by their father.
